To determine which cities are the best to celebrate Independence Day, they looked at data consisting of Fourth of July celebrations, affordability, attractions and activities, safety and accessibility, and the Fourth of July weather forecast.

Each city was rated on a 100 point scale. So, what two Missouri cities ranked the best and worst to celebrate the Fourth of July?

• No. 16: St. Louis
• No. 41: Kansas City

St. Louis has an overall score of 63.45 and was also No. 13 for Fourth of July celebrations and No. 14 for attractions and activities.

Kansas City has an overall score of 53.89. Although the Missouri city landed itself in the middle of the list, it tied at No. 1 for the Best Fourth of July weather forecast.
