National Hot Dog Day is Wednesday, July 21.

To celebrate the German delicacy this year, here are the best places to get a hot dog in Denver according to Yelp:

Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs

Biker Jim's Elk-Jalapeno-Cheddar Sausage dog was named the best hot dog in Colorado by the Food Network. The menu also features other delicious options like the Alaskan Reindeer, Mac N Cheer, and the Fried Mac.

Steve's Snappin' Dogs

"In addition to having top quality hot dogs and buns, we also offer great toppings, deep-fried skin-on french fries, beer-battered onion rings, and old-fashioned chili-cheese fries, as well as a low-carb menu that includes deep-fried green beans and carrot sticks with a touch of salt and pepper, a hot dog wrapped in crisp romaine lettuce or flour tortilla."

Harley's: A Hot Dog Revolution

Harley's in Littleton has a great variety of specialty hot dogs like the pastrami dog, BBQ brisket dog, the fried pickle dog, and more.

Billy's Gourmet Hot Dogs

Billy's serves up everything from Kobe beef hot dogs to the Taco Dog, a dog topped with shredded cheddar, pico de gallo, spicy green chile, sour cream, and taco seasoning.

Steuben's Uptown

This Denver classic has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Drives. The Colorado-style hot dog comes with pork green chile, cheddar cheese, and is served in a bun lathered in butter.
