Mexican soccer fans noticed the flag on Erick Aguirre's shirt was upside down. The colors on Mexico's flag from left to right is green, white, and red. Aguirre's shirt had red, white, and green with the eagle upside down.

Aguirre changed his shirt with the correct flag at the start of the second half. Mexico beat France 4 - 1 in the first Tokyo Olympic game for the team. No word on why there was an error on his jersey.
