Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) have shared an intense video to remind people to stay away from wildlife.

The video was captured by a hiker in Clear Creek County who ran into a bull moose while walking toward a lake, according to CPW.

"This video is an example of being too close to a bull moose and how quickly they can decide to charge on you," CPW wrote in a tweet.

The person in the video was able to hide behind a tree before the moose could get to them. CPW reports there were no injuries.

According to CPW, moose attacks are increasing in the area. There have been multiple occurrences of moose coming into contact with humans around Colorado this year.

In July, CPW officers had to tranquilize a moose that wouldn't leave a parking garage.

A bull moose was also seen roaming around a Colorado Springs golf course just a few weeks earlier.

CPW is urging residents to stay away from moose and has also released a video that has information about being safe around moose. To watch the informational video click here.
