Lucky Arkansas Couple Wins New RV In 'Wheel Of Fortune' Giveaway

A lucky couple in Arkansas recently scored a big win in a Wheel of Fortune giveaway, beating out nearly a million other people who entered the contest.

The iconic game show held a "Wheel's Win a Winnebago Giveaway" during the the show's National Parks theme week earlier this year, opening up the contest for viewers who entered the Bonus Round solution for each episode on Wheel's website, according to a news release. The grand prize winners were announced as Eddie and Joyce Hightower of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas.

The Hightowers, who have been married for 55 years, call themselves RV enthusiasts, and have had several motorhomes throughout the years. They recently donated their last motorhome to charity, so they are excited to have won the contest. Winnebago, a longtime partner of Wheel of Fortune, recently delivered the new Winnebago Solis 59P camper van to the Hightowers.

"We were so surprised to have won 'Wheel's Win a Winnebago Giveaway,'" said Joyce Hightower. "Camping has been a huge part of our lives for many years. In fact, this will be our fourth motorhome. We plan to spend time enjoying the many campgrounds in our local area."

She continued, "Since the Solis is easy to handle, we may also visit family in other parts of the country. For now, though, we are just enjoying the prospect of having a comfortable home away from home where we can be together and experience the outdoors."
