Though three decades have passed since the beginning of the '90s, many of the films from that era live on as personal favorites. Many of the films enjoyed by kids back then, including The Lion King, Aladdin, and Mrs. Doubtfire, are now being shared with the next generation.
Over at FrontierBundles.com, a search to find the most popular '90s films in every state was recently conducted. The team looked at the past year’s search volume for the 20 highest-grossing films from that era. From this data, FrontierBundles.com determined which '90s movies each state searched for the most. Here's what they found.
The Lion King was the most popular '90s film by far, coming up as the number on search in 18 states. Mrs. Doubtfire was the second most popular, however, the margin is pretty wide. The beloved Robin Williams comedy was number one in just five states.
