As Pilgrimage Festival prepares to welcome back concert-goers, festival organizers are announcing new health and safety protocols for all who attend.
"The safety of our guests, staff, artists and vendors is our number one priority," the festival's Twitter account wrote in a tweet Monday morning (August 16). "As such, COVID-19 protocols will be implemented. More details will be emailed to ticket holders and available on the festival website in the coming days."
The festival will require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of entering the festival, per FOX 17. Pilgrimage's announcement comes a week after Bonnaroo said it was requiring all who attend to be fully vaccinated or show proof of a negative test within 72 hours of entering the Farm.

Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival is set for September 25-26 at the Park at Harlinsdale in Franklin. In April, it was announced that Maren Morris, The Black Keys, Dave Matthews Band and Cage the Elephant, among others, would headline the festival for its seventh year.
"Pilgrimage is a one-of-a-kind festival experience, showcasing the best music, food, libations, and crafts the region has to offer," said Kevin Griffin, founder of the festival. "We can't wait to deliver one of the most exciting and diverse lineups of our seven-year history this September. Let's bring the music back to Franklin."
