Cleveland Residents Are Relocating To These 10 Cities The Most

Whether it’s because of rising rent rates, higher home prices, a new job transfer or anything else, Clevelanders are on the move.
That’s why Stacker sought to find out where they’re moving to most. The data journalism hub reports that it used U.S. Census Bureau data to rank major metro areas “by the estimated number of people who moved to the metro from Cleveland between 2014 and 2018. Ties were broken by gross migration,” the report reads. The result of the analysis was a list of the Top 50 metro areas where Clevelanders moved to the most. That list shows that while some people opted to relocate to faraway states — including Florida, Arizona and California, to name a few — the most popular places appear to be much closer to home.
