This Alabama Restaurant Has The Best Seafood In The Whole State

When you think of Alabama, seafood isn't exactly the first thing that comes to mind.

However, a local Birmingham favorite has been named as the best seafood spot in the Yellowhammer State.

Cajun Seafood House, located in the Vestavia suburb, was included among Eat This, Not That's list of the best seafood restaurant in every state, which was published earlier this year.

Cajun Seafood House brings "a taste of Louisiana" to the Birmingham area and offers a full menu, bar, curbside pickup and catering options.

The restaurant is located at 2531 Rocky Ridge Road in Vestavia.

"With star menu items like fried alligator and blackened red snapper, this Louisiana-style seafood joint has Yelp reviewers raving," Eat This Not That's Wellsley Kesel wrote. "'My husband went with an Etouffee tonight (I was scared he was going to lick the bowl). I opted for stuffed shrimp over rice and homemade chips. So delicious!' said one satisfied customer."
