There's nothing better than a little friendly competition and what's a better way to beat your friends and family than a game of mini-golf?
Stacker sought out to find the best mini-golf in every state.
Ever wondered why mini-golf was created? Here is what the report had to say about mini-golf and its origin:
"Mini-golf was born in 1867 in St. Andrews, Scotland when The Ladies' Putting Club of St. Andrews was founded. The members-only putting green, which was built for the enjoyment of the club, was constructed with the convention that it was "improper for a lady to take the club back past their shoulder." It proved so popular that similar putting courses began popping up around the country and around the world."
Now, according to Front Office Sports, it is calculated that "more than 130 million people pick up a mini putter every year, making it a $1 billion industry in this country alone."
To find each state's best putt putt course, Stacker used data and ratings from Tripadvisor to determine where the best mini-golf course is.
So, where is Missouri's best mini-golf course?
Bigfoot Fun Park in Branson.
Here is what the report had to say about Bigfoot Fun Park:
"To date, there have been about 150 sightings of Bigfoot in Missouri. He'd blend right in at the Bigfoot Fun Park, where visitors can enjoy the plausibility of the cryptid in a safe environment. While they contemplate whether or not Sasquatch exists in the wild, folks can play a few rounds of Bigfoot-themed mini-golf on this glow-in-the-dark course that has you tracking the monster (via his footprints) for all 18 holes."
