For years, Jon Taffer has traveled the U.S. to help save bars and nightclubs for his hit TV show, Bar Rescue.

The host and hospitality expert has lent a hand to hundreds of struggling businesses in hopes of setting them back on track. In the latest season, Taffer heads to Vegas to help businesses that took a hit during the pandemic.

Throughout his eight seasons, Taffer has visited five bars in Ohio:

  • Rippers Rock House — which was since renamed Tim Owens’ Travelers Tavern — in Akron (Season 4, Episode 3)
  • Martini Brothers — which was since renamed The Federal — in Youngstown (Season 4, Episode 4)
  • The Royal Oaks, in Youngstown (Season 4, Episode 5)
  • The Black Sheep — which was since renamed The Public House — in Cheviot (Season 2, Episode 6)
  • Win, Place, or Show — which was since renamed America Live — in Fairfield (Season 2, Episode 8)

Since appearing on the show, these businesses have closed:

  • Rippers Rock House (a.k.a. Tim Owens’ Travelers Tavern)
  • Win, Place, or Show (a.k.a. America Live)
