When you think of vacation destinations, you probably think of mountain resorts and beach getaways. However, when its comes to fall vacations, things look different. Tourists may be looking for fall foliage, less tourism, and cooler temps.
U.S. News & World Report released its annual list of the best fall vacay spots and two Arizona locations popped up on the list.
Grand Canyon National Park landed at number two, followed by Sedona, Arizona at number three.
The study says:
"When it comes to scenic views alone, however, the runner-up really might have the edge: The Grand Canyon is hard to beat. And if you do choose to visit there this fall, you can probably knock out the third-place finisher during the same trip—Sedona, Arizona, is just about a two-hour drive away.
