Harry Styles is no match for Tropical Storm Nicholas.

The British singer announced on Twitter at 3 p.m. on Monday that his Houston show is off because of the nearing storm.

"Unfortunately, due to the approaching storm in Houston, I’ve been advised that tonight’s show at the Toyota Center can’t happen. Safety must take priority, so please go home and be safe. I’m so sorry, thank you for understanding. I love you all. H," Styles' tweet read.

Toyota Center confirmed that the show was postponed and said it would release more information for ticket holders. A rescheduled date was not immediately released.

The decision to postpone the concert came after the city of Houston started warning residents to stay off the roads on Monday evening because of the possibility of flooding. The Houston-area is expected to receive around 2-3 inches of rain an hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Despite the threat of severe weather, Stylers still lined up outside of the Toyota Center hours before the show's scheduled 8 p.m. start.

Prior to Styles' tweet, fans and the parents of younger fans reached out to the Toyota Center to postpone the show, citing concern about the severe weather.
