This San Diego Luxury Resort Now Ranks 4th Best In The U.S.

A luxury resort in Rancho Santa Fe was ranked as one of the best resorts in the country by Travel + Leisure.

The luxury resort Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa has been named the No. 4 resort in the country. In 2020, it was ranked No. 11.

The secluded resort features twenty-six pink casitas with 52 suites and is located just outside of La Jolla.

The resort also made it to Travel + Leisure's Top 100 Hotels in the World coming in at No. 35.

This year's World's Best Awards survey was open for voting by readers from January 11 through May 10 this year.

“While the past year and a half has been incredibly challenging for our industry, it has also made us even more innovative in how we care for our guests, taking a fresh approach to initiatives and experiences throughout the resort,” said General Manager Laura McIver. “I am so proud and inspired by our team here at Rancho Valencia for this tremendous ranking and how we were able to adapt and make the resort even better than before.”

Another San Diego area location received a major accolade. Rancho La Puerta, a well-known Tecate spa was recognized as the No. 1 international destination spa.
