There are only a handful of days to get your scares in before the 2021 Halloween season comes to an end.
Luckily, the California News Times has compiled the scariest haunted houses to check out in the Fresno area:
13 Shadows - Fresno
This Fresno haunted house is brand new. Located in Blackstone the website for this new attraction gives you a glimpse of just how creepy and sinister it looks.
"Superstition or reality? Come on in if you dare and experience The 13 Shadows and all its gory. From rooms that will have you gasping for air, folk stories that have tormented humans for centuries, and souls that have been forgotten. The 13 Shadows has these and many more stories to tell only if you dare to enter Halloween's true gates of hell," reads their website.
Raisin Hell Ranch - Madera
Located at Avenue 32 1/4 in Madera the Raisin Hell Ranch Haunted Cornfield is definitely for people looking to test themselves. They don't recommend it for children under the age of 12 and it is not wheelchair accessible due to rough terrain. The ranch has two main attractions. The first one is Deadwood: "As you enter the Raisin Hell Hotel, the cornfield comes alive with demented characters and creepy corpses! The 15-20 minute walk will take you through some of the most demonic places that you could ever imagine!"
The other is Sinister: "After passing through the doors of the Raisin Hell Hotel, you find yourself in the desolate domain of psychotic freaks and depraved maniacs that are not very welcoming to visitors! The unholy band of demons seeks to terrorize you and your friends, as you pass through their personal space of hell!"
Hobb's Grove - Sanger
You probably already know about Hobb's Grove if you're from the area but you can't write about Fresno's haunted attractions without this Halloween staple. The long-time haunted hotspot in Sanger has three main attractions consisting of the Haunted Hayride, House, and Forest.
According to California News Times, Hobbes has also added a new laser tag feature which is available to a limited number of guests every day.
