Nearly three months after his death, a date for a public memorial service for Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali has been set.

The funeral will be held Monday, November 15 at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California. The affair will be hosted by Frankie's longtime friend Eddie Trunk.

Frankie was diagnosed with stage-four pancreatic cancer in the spring of 2020. Despite the grim prognosis, however, he continued performing live with Quiet Riot as often as possible. After several stints in the hospital with complications from the disease, Frankie passed away this past August with his wife and daughter at his side.

A GoFundMe campaign to help Frankie's family with his medical expenses raised over $47,000.
