Have you received your stimulus yet? The last round of payments issued by California will conclude the state's pandemic stimulus program, reports the Orange County Register.
The Franchise Tax Board (FTB) announced on Wednesday, January 5, the 180,000 payments of $600 started in late December and will continue through January 11.
"The final scheduled round calls for GSS II payments to be mailed between Dec. 27 and Jan. 11," media liaison Andrew LePage with the FTB told the Register. "A relatively small number of payments will continue to go out after Jan. 11."
This final round of checks is valued at an estimated $127 million. The previous round of Golden State Stimulus II payments was worth $568 million and went out between December 13 and December 31.
In total, the Golden State Stimulus II program has issued around 8.2 million checks and direct deposits valued at over $5.9 billion, reports the Register.
The payments were part of Governor Gavin Newsom's pandemic recovery plan and were intended for the state's middle-income residents who earn less than $75,000 in adjusted gross income.
Qualifying families who listed dependents received an additional $500. If you're still awaiting a check, you can find out how much your payment will be with this calculator.
The Golden State Stimulus II website says that the distribution schedule for this final round is heading to Californians with ZIP codes ending with 928-999.
