Kelly Clarkson Gives Shout Out To San Francisco Bay Area Restaurant

A Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter recently stopped by a local Bay Area restaurant and took to social media to shout them out.

According to SFGATE, Kelly Clarkson made a trip to Barndiva located just off the plaza in Healdsburg over the weekend.

“Thank you Susan & Deb at ‘Susan Graf Limited’ for hooking us up with lunch at Barndiva in Healdsburg, CA,” Clarkson wrote in a tweet. “Loved meeting y’all & if you’re in the area, people, it’s amazing! Try the ‘save me’ cocktail!” 

Lukka Feldman, Barndiva's co-owner, told SFGATE that Clarkson was a gracious diner.

“She was very lovely, very unassuming, gracious and complimentary,” Feldman said. “The whole staff was very pleased.”

The restaurant's Creative Director Jil Hales also talked with SFGATE writing, "We have been bowled over by the response to Kelly Clarkson’s tweet about enjoying her time with us@barndiva, An incredible talent, turns out Ms. Clarkson is also generous and kind, it’s no wonder she is so beloved."

The host of the Kelly Clarkson Show also mentioned she ordered the "Save Me" cocktail which "is usually made with tequila, though we’ve had guests asked to ‘be saved’ with Mezcal and our house made Jalapeño Tequila as well."
