"Stacker consulted the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook to compile a list of all jobs that don't require higher education. These are the top 10 highest-paying jobs in Sacramento that don't require a college degree:

- First-line supervisors of police and detectives - Annual mean salary of $145,550
- Power distributors and dispatchers - Annual mean salary of $141,200
- First-line supervisors of correctional officers - Annual mean salary of $115,020
- Power plant operators - Annual mean salary of $114,420
- Electrical power-line installers and repairers - Annual mean salary of $107,540
- First-line supervisors of firefighting and prevention workers - Annual mean salary of $101,800
- Elevator and escalator installers and repairers - Annual mean salary of $100,280
- Detectives and criminal investigators - Annual mean salary of $99,770
