This Is The Best City To Live In Southern California

Niche has released its 2022 Best Cities to Live in America list and they claim to have determined the best city to live in in Southern California. The review site looks at crime rates, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities when ranking cities.

So which city is the best to live in SoCal? According to Niche, it's Irvine! One reviewer wrote on the website, "First and foremost, Irvine is a beautiful and clean city... Almost everywhere you go, it is very well maintained and manicured. It’s very organized and thought out."

Irvine was also ranked No. 3 in Healthiest Cities in America and No. 5 in Cities with the Best Public Schools in America. Niche goes on to say that "Living in Irvine offers residents an urban suburban mix feel and most residents rent their homes. In Irvine there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks."

The city's Niche grades are all A's and B's when it comes to schooling and crime and safety. However, it did receive a C- for housing but with California's housing crisis, that's to be expected.
