Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival 2022 has finally arrived! The epic two-weekend event is kicking off this weekend with thousands of music lovers who are expected to be in attendance.

On Friday, April 14, Coachella 2022 kicked off with performances from Ari Lennox, Cordae, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Lil Baby, and Harry Styles. The festival raged on all weekend with headliners Billie Eilish, The Weeknd + Swedish House Mafia and plenty other incredible artists shutting down each stage. Other notable acts that performed this weekend were Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Disclosure, Giveon, Isaiah Rashad, Doja Cat, Karol G, Jessie Reyez, Belly, Vince Staples, Run The Jewels and more.

With ticket sales dropping significantly following Kanye West's abrupt exit as the headliner, thousands more fans packed the venue in order to see all of their favorite acts deliver unforgettable performances. Ye ended up pulling out of Coachella just a week or so before the festival was set to begin. After quickly scrambling for another major act, the festival decided to give The Weeknd + Swedish House Mafia Ye's coveted slot. The Donda rapper hasn't directly addressed the issue but a source close to Ye said that the show was too much pressure for him.
