Vory's grip on the music industry becomes tighter with every record he delivers. After teasing his upcoming project over the past few months, the Louisville-based artist has finally released his debut album.
On Friday, June 3, Vory dropped his new album Lost Souls. The 17-track project, released via UMG Recordings and Meek Mill's Dream Chasers Records, contains some of the rapper-singer's best work to date including fresh collaborations with Kanye West, Bleu (formerly known as Yung Bleu), NAV, Beam, Fresco Trey and Landstrip Chip. Meek Mill, who signed Vory to his imprint back in 2020, hyped up the album on Twitter shortly after it dropped.

Lost Souls, which was formerly known as Lost Angels, has been in the works for some time. Vory first teased the project on Instagram back in 2021. He posted a photo of the potential tracklist which was written out on a notepad. Shortly afterward, Vory teased another version of the tracklist and included some of the album's features. At that time, he teased a record with Gunna called "World Cry." However, that track did not make it to the final version.
Last month, Vory continued to promote the album when he released his collaboration with BLEU and NAV "Do Not Disturb." Then, earlier this week, he finally released his collaboration with Kanye West called "Daylight." The song was produced by Ye along with 88-Keys, Ojivolta, and E. Vax.
Prior to the album, Vory hopped on other projects like Fivio Foreign's B.I.B.L.E., in which he joined Polo G on "Changed On Me," as well as Doe Boy's OH REALLY album and Ye's Donda.
