CVS and Rite Aid Now Limiting Morning-After Pill Purchases

CVS and Rite Aid are limiting the number of emergency contraceptive pills customers can buy after the Supreme Court overturned the constitutional right to an abortion.

CVS said yesterday that it is temporarily limiting purchases of three boxes per transaction to avoid a shortage following the high court's ruling.
In a statement, the drugstore chain said it has "ample supply" of products that can be taken by women to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or if a birth control method fails.
However, Walgreens is not limiting their sales just yet...
"Walgreens is still able to meet demand in-store," a spokeswoman for the chain said. "At this time, we are working to restock online inventory for ship-to-home."
