Banana Boat Recalls Three Sunscreens Over Benzene

Three batches of Banana Boat sunscreen are being recalled due to the presence of benzene.

The recall includes six-ounce cans of hair and scalp spray with expiration dates of December 2022, February 2023 or April 2024. The company issued the voluntary recall Friday after samples of the product were found to contain trace levels of the cancer causing chemical.

Consumers should stop using the affected sunscreen and either throw it out or return it to the store for a refund
