Charli D'Amelio & Mom Heidi Joining 'Dancing With The Stars' Cast

Charli D'Amelio and her mom Heidi D'Amelio are taking their talents from TikTok to an even bigger screen!

The mother-daughter duo is set to join Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars, production sources told TMZ. While they'll both be contestants on the show, they won't be dancin' together. They'll be competing against each other and the other celebrities, who have yet to be revealed yet.

Chari, 18, rose to fame on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic and now has over 145 million followers, making her the second-most followed user on the social media platform. Her mom also just celebrated the 10 million follower milestone herself. In addition to the D'Amelio's presence on TikTok, their whole family, including dad Marc D'Amelio and sister Dixie D'Amelio have their own reality TV show on Hulu, The D'Amelio Show.

The TikTok sensation, who is currently dating Travis Barker's stepson Landon Barker, might have a leg up on the competition. Literally. She's been dancing she was little! She's also appeared alongside Derek and Julianne Hough on Step Into...The Movies. In an interview last year, Derek said, "I think it’d be really cool to see one of the D’Amelio sisters on there. Charli’s a really talented dancer and she’s obviously crushing it in the content, TikTok world. I think she would be really good."

Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars is set to premiere on Disney+ in September.
