Earn Spend Live searched the country and evaluated miles of infrastructure, taking into account the average number of fatalities each year, to determine which roads are the most dangerous in each state. According to the site:

According to the report, US Route 45 is the most dangerous roadway in Illinois. Here's what they had to say about it:

The US Route 45 Illinois stretch has been the site of around 11 fatalities each year. Among 100 crashes, 112 fatalities were reported.
