Airline’s Use Of Duct Tape On WIng Is Explained

There’s nothing like seeing duct tape on the wing of a plane to lose confidence in a flight. Last week, Australian opera singer David Wakeham posted a now viral photo, last week, that showed duct tape on the wing. It turns out Boeing 787-9 planes are notorious for peeling paint. And the tape wasn’t duct tape, but speed tape, which is different… and stronger… than duct tape.
