Unilever Recalls Dry Shampoo Brands: If you use dry shampoo, take a look at your products. Unilever is voluntarily recalling 19 products due to possibly elevated levels of benzene, which causes cancer. The brands include Dove, Nexxus, Suave, Rockaholic, Bed Head, and TRESemmé. The affected products were produced before October 2021. Benzene exposure can result in leukemia and blood cancers.

Clorox Recalling Several Pine-Sol Cleaners: Clorox is recalling several types of Pine-Sol cleaners. The company has announced that over 37-million bottles of Pine-Sol may be contaminated with a bacteria that can cause serious infections. That bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes, or through openings on the skin. Recalled products will have a date code on the top of the bottle that begins with the prefix 'A4' followed by a five-digit number less than "2-2-2-4-9." A detailed list of which cleaners are affected can be found online.

Costco recalls hummus because of mold issues: Costco is recalling certain Kirkland Signature brand Pine Nut Hummus because of mold issues. “We have identified some mold issues on the pine nut topping on one code date on this item,” Costco said in a letter to its members. The recalled items were sold between Sept. 21 to Oct. 18.

Recalled products:

Kirkland Signature Pine Nut Hummus with the code date: Best Before NOV 26 2022.

The date is located on the top of the container.

Consumers who have this code date in their refrigerator should return it to Costco for a full refund.
