Phoebe Bridgers And Actor Paul Mescal Are Reportedly Engaged

Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal are engaged! Or so The Guardian reported. In a new interview with the actor, the publication originally wrote that the couple was "now engaged;" however, has since changed the wording to "reported to be engaged."

The pair's love story is as funny as it is cute. It all seemingly began in May 2020 when Bridgers shared her hilarious reaction to Mescal's movie Normal People. "finished normal people and now I’m sad and horny oh wait," she tweeted at the time, to which Mescal responded "I'm officially dead."

They continued interacting via social media during lockdown, and in an interview Bridgers admitted that "the cute boy" from Normal People started following her. “I got a little pitter-patter in my heart when I saw,” she gushed. They became Instagram official in 2021, though have generally kept their relationship out of the public eye.

Mescal stars in a new movie called Aftersun, which hit theaters last month. Meanwhile, Bridgers is planning to hit the road with Taylor Swift next year as support for her epic Eras Tour. Bridgers plans to accompany her May 6 in Nashville, Philadelphia on May 12 & 13, Foxborough, Massachusetts May 19 & 20, and East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 26 & 27.
