Dora Jar Puts a SPELL on New York City
November 9, 2022
Dora Jar took the stage at her sold out show at The Bowery Ballroom, and showed her fans just how magical her performance really is.
On November 8th, Jar performed under a full moon while sporting different hats through out the show, courtesy of her many fans dressed in costumes. Some even dressed in matching bumblebee outfits for her song "Bumblebee." The show was full of energy and drama in the best way. To set the tone for the drama since she is a theater fan herself, she opened up the show with the soundtrack of "The Sound of Music". She continued to deliver a mix between upbeat lively songs that had the crowd dancing, and heart-breaking ballads that had the crowd completely silent. Dora's voice was like a siren the everyone beckoned to --- a real entertainer and artist that we need right now.
Her opener, Sam Austins, came with an electric performance. He claimed it was his first time doing anything like this and actually slid into Dora's Instagram DM's where she replied she loved his song "Kilos." That's how the pair were connected.
The opening tour has just started and they are taking over eight more cities. This is one you won't want to miss.
