Offset and Cardi B are making moves to honor the late Takeoff ahead of his massive funeral service today.
On Friday, November 11, TMZ posted photos of the parents of two getting ready to head out to the star-studded memorial in Atlanta. Offset, who's Takeoff's cousin, and the Bronx rapper stepped out wearing all-black as they made moves to the State Farm Arena. It's the first time the couple has been spotted out together since the rapper was shot and killed in Houston on November 1. So far, neither of them have made any public statements about the incident. Only Offset recently changed his profile image to a photo of Takeoff.
You can see photos of the couple walking to their car before they head out for the day. The memorial service is expected to be a ginormous homegoing for Takeoff. Justin Bieber is reportedly set to perform at the funeral. It will be the first time the pop star has hit the stage since he paused his own world tour to focus on his health. So far, the list of performers and celebrity guests has been kept under wraps. Takeoff's funeral is open to the public after free tickets were made available until they reached maximum capacity.
Since Takeoff's untimely death, numerous artists and celebrities have paid homage to the slain Migos rapper. Quavo was by his side after his nephew was fatally hit by a bullet during the shooting that broke out in front of a bowling alley in Houston. So far, police have not arrested any suspects and are still looking for a person of interest. Although his label Quality Control issued a touching statement, Quavo has not publicly spoken about Takeoff's death.
