No two Buc-ee's locations are the same. That's what prompted MySanAntonio to investigate 33 stores in less than a week — and what they found might shock you.
There's a secret spot at the Luling Buc-ee's that'll save you a world of time when filling up your tank. Did you know there's rows of secret gas pumps? Reporter Chris O'Connell discovered "row upon row of unoccupied gas pumps" when he was waiting in line to fill up. In fact, he mentioned this was the only "big" location where there was a wait to do so.
"But because I was on a journalistic mission, I snooped around the interior and exterior of every Buc-ee’s I visited. In Luling, I drove around the side of the store to find … row upon row of unoccupied gas pumps. I also found some very cute dogs hanging out in RVs. There are bonuses everywhere, you just need to know where to look," O'Connell wrote.
This Buc-ee's location, found at 10070 Interstate 10, is about to undergo a massive remodel that'll make it the biggest Buc-ee's in the world! Construction is set to begin on November 16 with a ground-breaking ceremony. Once completed, it'll stand at over 75,000 square feet with 120 fueling stations.
The current record-holder for the biggest Buc-ee's ever is the New Braunfels location, which stands at 66,336 square feet. A new Buc-ee's is under construction, however, in Sevierville, Tennessee, which took the title at 74,000 square feet. That was supposed to be the biggest Buc-ee's of all time, but then news of the Luling location broke! It's unclear when the Luling location will open, but stay tuned!
