Former Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee and guitarist Phil Campbell remembered Lemmy Kilmister Wednesday on the seventh anniversary of his death.
The Motörhead cofounder died on December 28, 2015, four days after his 70th birthday and two days after disclosing publicly that he had prostate cancer.
Motörhead disbanded the following year and Dee went on to join Scorpions.
"My Motörhead days are forever welded in to my backbone. It's a huge part of who I am and the Motörhead family is as steady as a rock, forever," Dee wrote via Twitter.
"Lemmy, I miss you and think about you a lot but I am quite certain [you] are rocking the house and raising hell wherever you are."
Campbell added: "RIP Lem. Sadly left us all on this date. Never to be forgotten."
Despite struggling with his health, Lemmy was loath to cancel any shows and Motörhead completed a leg of its 40th anniversary European tour just two weeks prior to Lemmy's passing.
An expanded edition of Motörhead's final studio album, Black Magic, is due out February 24.
