50 Cent has agreed to a settlement for a media outlet who's report about a med spa insinuated that the rapper used its penis enlargement services.
According to legal documents reporter Meghann Cuniff published on Tuesday morning, February 21, the rapper-actor, born Curtis Jackson, and The Shade Room reached a settlement after their report about med spa owner Angela Kogan and her run-in with 50 Cent sparked false rumors. In a filing with the U.S. District Court's Southern District of Florida, Jackson's legal team confirmed the settlement but also highlighted that litigation with Kogan and her business is still ongoing.

“[50 Cent] by and through his undersigned counsel, hereby gives notice that he has reached an agreement to settle with Defendant The Shade Room… in the above captioned action,” the documents state. “Jackson and TSR are in the process of executing their respective obligations pursuant to the agreement and will file a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal.”
50 Cent filed the lawsuit last year after The Shade room published a story about Kogan and Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa and included a photo of Kogan with Fif inside her business. The Power creator's lawyers alleged that Kogan used the photo to insinuate that he was a client who used her services, which includes penile enlargement. Shortly after the story was posted on The Shade Room's massive social media platforms, rumors about 50 receiving a penile procedure spread like wildfire.
Kogan instantly denied the claims and had her lawyers try to dismiss the case. Meanwhile, Jackson claims he only agreed to take the photo with her because he thought she was a fan. A few months after the initial lawsuit was filed, the MedSpa owner countered the allegations made against her by shifting the blame on to The Shade Room. She claimed the rumors were started by the outlet when they included the photo of her and Fif in their story.
A trial date has been set for July just in case both parties do not reach a settlement by then.
