Lil Wayne hit the Rolling Loud stage on the hip-hop festival's second night in Los Angeles. On Saturday, March 4th, the head liner kept the crowd entertained with a series of special guests including a surprise appearance from Nicki Minaj. Fans on social media were excited to see the two reunite for a performance of their 2015 hit "Truffle Butter" but the two didn't stop there.

They also threw it back to the early 2010s for a performance of "High School" off Nicki's album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up, the reissue of her sophomore effort Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Nicki also gave the Rolling Loud crowd a performance of one of her newer hits, "Super Freaky Girl" and was reportedly set to keep going but had to cut the performance short due to technical difficulties on the DJ's end. The rapper posted footage and backstage photos from the performance to Instagram writing, "THE GOAT was in Cali last night."

Fans took to the comment section to praise Lil Wayne and Nicki for their chemistry together. "It’s always a treat seeing you and Wayne together. 🐐 Love the genuineness of your friendship and it has stood the test of time," one fan wrote. "TUNECHI & BARBIE >>>>>>" another fan wrote.

Elsewhere in his set, Lil Wayne also brought out 2 Chainz for a performance of "Duffle Bag Boy" and Gudda Gudda for the YMCMB hit "Bed Rock."
