Walker Hayes Celebrates Nearly 2 Decades Of Marriage To Wife Laney Hayes

Walker Hayes is celebrating nearly two decades of marriage to his wife, Laney Hayes. The “Fancy Like” superstar posted an adorable photo of the couple on Instagram, resting his head on hers as Laney wraps an arm around his shoulder and beams a bright smile to the camera. Hayes simply wrote in his caption: “19 years💪❤️”

The Hayes tied the knot on June 12, 2004, per a previous report from PEOPLE introducing Laney and reflecting on the couple’s love story. They first met growing up in their Alabama hometown, and briefly broke up after several years of dating. But they realized they didn’t want to be apart, and ultimately got married and welcomed six children (three daughters and three sons): Lela, Everly, Loxley, Chapel, Baylor and Beckett. Their seventh child, daughter Oakleigh Klover, died when she was born. The family recently paid tribute to her as they marked five years without her earlier this month. Hayes captioned a photo in her memory with a single red heart emoji.

Hayes, who often brings his wife and kids on tour with him, shared an adorable video of a vow renewal with Laney in September 2022.
