Out of all the artists getting airplay on the radio, only a handful of them will ever know what it’s like to reach one billion spins across iHeart stations. Now, that lucky handful of iHeartRadio Titanium Awards winners has been announced. The winners were revealed yesterday and include Ed Sheeran for “Shivers,” Doja Cat for “Woman,” Jack Harlow for “First Class,” Latto for “Big Energy” and Wizkid and Tems for “Essence.”

Sheeran was presented with his award recently while hanging at the iHeartRadio offices in New York. The 32-year-old rocker expressed gratitude for the honor, as well as relief that “Shivers” did so well with his target demo. “You always wonder every album whether you’re going to lose the kids, because I constantly have young people coming to my gigs.” He added, “With ‘Shivers,’ all these kids keep coming up to me saying they like ‘Shivers,’ and I’m like, ‘Alright, I still got’em.”

Curious about how the award works? The iHeartRadio Titanium Awards multiply airplay by the number of radio listeners at the time those songs are played. This number provides “total audience impressions” in the way that a movie or TV show would on a streaming service.
