An abandoned shack mysteriously appeared in the middle of a Los Angeles city street last week, and police are still unsure where it came from. According to Sgvcitywatch, police were called to the 800 block of Alpha Street around 9:00 p.m. on October 17th when an anonymous individual stumbled upon a vacant mobile home that "seemingly fell from the sky."

Officers from the Irwindale Police Department arrived on scene to inspect the peculiar structure and assess the need for a tow truck. The department shared a message on Facebook with photos of the shack, drawing comical similarities to The Wizard of Oz.

"An anonymous caller (Let’s call her Dorothy) reported a house that seemingly fell from the sky and landed in the middle of one of our city streets. With this year’s first-ever tornado warning in Los Angeles, IPD was sure this was the case. Not to worry, as there were no witches harmed when the house landed. Kudos to Royal Coaches Towing for clicking their heels together and summoning the courage to get the house out of the roadway."

Information regarding who could have dropped the shack off in the middle of Alpha Street is not available as there is no surveillance camera set up where the shack was found. It was also unclear where the shack was towed to.
