SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, & More Honored As 2023's "Hitmakers" By "Variety"

SZA has been named as the Hitmaker of the Year for "Variety's" seventh annual Hitmakers event, with artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Metro Boomin, and boygenius also receiving top honors. The Hitmakers celebration, which will be covered in the November 29th issue of “Variety,” recognizes the talent behind the year's most popular songs according to Billboard and Luminate Charts.

“The goal of Hitmakers always has been to honor the top artists and songs of the year, and especially the people behind them. SZA, her ‘SOS’ album and tour, and her hits this year are not only a creative and commercial triumph, but one with a reach that stretches far beyond the music world.
