The Deer Creek School District down by Edmond is in a bit of hot water for a not so savory way to raise funds for Not Your Average Joe Coffee which employs people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Granted they raised over $150k during their Wonderful Week Of Fundraising, but they way they went about it was weird. As seen in the video, students were licking peanut butter off the feet of fellow students. The school district says every student that participated signed for the games ahead of time and that no staff or faculty participated during the assembly. Some parents and students were shocked, and State Superintendent Ryan Walters took to X saying they were cleaning up the filth in Oklahoma schools.
