Florida Cities Rank High Among The 'Best Places To Retire' In America

Just like how people are looking for new homes, people approaching retirement are seeking their forever homes. While you can permanently settle down just about anywhere in the United States, several cities are perfect locations for people entering the post-working years. These ideal places provide plenty of engaging activities, have amazing weather all year round, or are easy on the budget.
Niche released their 2024 rankings of the "Best Places to Retire in America." Analysts used data from several government agencies and sources to compile their list. They also considered the number of retirees, weather, entertainment, and access to health care.
Several Florida cities broke into the Top 10! The highest-ranking one is Clearwater with an overall A- rating. The Gulf Coast city received high marks on nightlife, weather, health and fitness, outdoor activities, commute, and more. New residents can also look forward to waterfront restaurants, stunning beaches, beautiful sunsets, thrilling attractions, and outdoor adventures. Over 116,000 people live in Clearwater.
Despite the Sunshine State and other Southern cities dominating the Top 10, Scottsdale, Arizona snatched the crown in this year’s rankings. See which cities earned a place in the Top 10 below:
