The City Girls are fighting.
Yung Miami and JT seemed like they were supportive of one another's respective endeavors — until now. The Miami-based duo apparently have some underlying drama that just exploded on social media. On Monday afternoon, April 8, Jatavia and Caresha publicly bickered on X after JT called her labelmate out by name.
"I know I come off crazy but never in my life did no wack s**t to this girl she literally enjoys seeing me being dragged when ppl show me love she goes crazy & call it a hate train!" JT wrote. "But like I said we can sit & talk about it!"
"I know I come off crazy but never in my life did no wack s**t to this girl she literally enjoys seeing me being dragged when ppl show me love she goes crazy & call it a hate train!" JT continued. "But like I said we can sit & talk about it!"
"For you to come on here & try to play victim is crazy!" Yung Miami wrote. "Jatavia you been sneak dissing me for the LAST COUPLE OF DAYS!!! I haven't said s**t back to you!! You made 2 whole songs DISSING ME & I STILL RAPPED your s**t with my chest & showed love :) so what's the real problem here???"
"You LET THE INTERNET PUT IN YOUR HEAD THAT IM JEALOUS OF YOU!" she added. "WHEN YOU KNOW IM THE ONE THAT ALWAYS PUSHED US YOU HAVE RESENTMENT TOWARDS TO & that's ok!!!"
"Which songs was about you???" JT replied. "Girl the internet told you that which songs was about you the one saying 'it’s city girl s**t even when it ain’t city girl s**t' that was released under city girls or the one that say riding solo but I’m still in a group? Get your phone back from whoever this is baby don’t play with me!"
Yung Miami claimed JT's previous solo records "No Bars" and "Sideways" had sneak disses aimed at her. Neither song directly names Caresha. On "No Bars," JT does mention the City Girls in the hook, but it seemingly defends the duo from rumors about breaking up. JT immediately denied the songs had jabs towards Caresha but their tension isn't going anywhere just yet.
"Oh wow you’re really losing it!" JT replied. "If you thought this why not speak to me about it? You came on here & said LOL so ppl can ask you why you wasn’t defending me….ATTENTION seeking as usual!"
City Girls just dropped their third studio album RAW last October. Yung Miami and JT have done their own songs and features since then, but neither have confirmed that the duo has broken up. Let's hope they work things out offline.
