The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off with stunning red carpet looks as celebrities arrived at the UBS Arena on Wednesday evening (September 11) in New York City. The hotly-anticipated annual event is dedicated to the most memorable videos in music throughout the year, packed with electrifying performances and other can’t-miss moments throughout the evening.
Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz, LL COOL J, Megan Thee Stallion, Sabrina Carpenter, Fat Joe, Eminem and other artists make up this year’s VMAs lineup. Megan Thee Stallion is also slated to host the event. Pop megastar Katy Perry will be honored with the Video Vanguard Award. Other hitmakers are vying for Best New Artist, VMAs Most Iconic Performance, Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Song of the Summer and other coveted categories determined with votes from fans.
