The Guardians scored late runs to edge the Twins 4-3 in their series opener.

Angel Martinez drove in a run in the bottom of the seventh to pull Cleveland within one run while Kyle Manzardo blasted a two-run homer to take the lead the following inning.

The Guardians have won three straight and remain first in the AL Central.

The four-game series continues tonight.
