Lil Yachty is firing back after Karrahbooo accused him of hiring ghostwriters for his previous album.
The Concrete Boys founder learned about his former artist's comments after he saw a clip from her recent appearance on DDG's No Ordinary podcast. During their conversation, Karrahbooo said she used to argue with Yachty over using ghostwriters and claimed he relied on "a whole team of writers" while making his experimental alternative album Let's Start Here. After DJ Akademiks posted the clip, Lil Boat denied the allegations.
"No one has ever wrote for me ever just for the record," he wrote in the comments.
Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo haven't publicly addressed one another since the first lady of Concrete Boys spoke out against her former boss following her exit from the group. Karrah reportedly told a fan that she got kicked out of Yachty's rap group after she was bullied. Yachty went on a lengthy rant on Instagram Live in which he denied the allegations and claimed he helped her by writing every verse she's done. Karrah called cap on Yachty's claims and bragged about the songs she did write in an Instagram Story.
“Put it on yo kid i ain’t write these songs miles,” she wrote at the time. “stop da cap and leave me out ur internet shenanigans 😂.”
Karrahbooo has continued to release music without Yachty's help since her split from his group. She recently teamed up with fellow rapper Kyla Imani for their collaboration "In The Hills." Meanwhile, the Atlanta native recently dropped three fresh music videos for "All Around The World," "Cry Me A River," and "We Ball Forever."
