Shane Bieber Inks Deal With Guardians
December 12, 2024
Shane Bieber is officially a Guardian once again.
Bieber formally signed a one-year deal with Cleveland yesterday.
The contract will pay him ten million dollars in 2025, and it includes a $16 million player option for 2026.
The Guardians ace missed most of 2024 after having Tommy John surgery in April, and his recovery is expected to last into the 2025 campaign.
Bieber won both of his starts last year, and he struck out 20 batters in 12 scoreless innings
In other club news, radio broadcaster Tom Hamilton was named the 2025 Ford C. Frick Award winner yesterday.
