Demi Lovato is speaking out after fans voiced concerns over her behavior in a recent video.

The "Confident" singer shared a "Cooking with Demi" video to her TikTok this week to show followers how to roast a whole chicken. Wearing a black apron and with ingredients spread out on the counter, Lovato appeared apprehensive but determined as she explained the decision in an effort to help them all "[face] our fears."

"Today we are making a whole roasted chicken. It seems really overwhelming but it's not," she said, laughing as she admitted the sentiment was also meant for herself as much as for viewers. "We're gonna have fun, and I'm telling myself this because I feel overwhelmed."

On ✨Cooking With Demi✨ we are all about facing our fears. Today we did that by trying out a recipe for a whole roasted chicken. It wasn’t pretty at times, but it wasn’t nearly as overwhelming as I thought it would be and I’m really proud to have this recipe in my back pocket now 🖤 INGREDIENTS: 1 3 3/4 to 4 pound chicken 1 lemon Kosher salt 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme, plus 10 sprigs 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 2 or 3 carrots, peeled and cut in chunks 1 medium yukon gold potato, cut in chunks 3 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled ½ small onion 1 stalk celery 5 or 6 ¾-inch slices of a baguette 2 big handfuls of baby arugula 1 tablespoon vinegar

However, fans noticed that the 32-year-old musician appeared to be shaking at various points of the video, like in close-up shots of her touching the raw chicken and removing the insides, per People.

"'It seems really overwhelming but it's not' *is literally shaking*" one commenter wrote, while another added, "I'm afraid of seeing her shaking that hard." Others even saw themselves in the process, with one viewer noting, "I have never watched a cooking show more relatable than this one 😂"

The nerves would make sense given she admitted to feeling "nervous" and in over her head at the start of the video, and she assured fans that everything was alright, replying to one fan, "I'm okay! I promise 🖤"

Lovato ultimately acknowledged in the caption that the recipe "wasn't nearly as overwhelming as I thought it would be" as she shared how "proud" she was to be able to add it to her repertoire.
