'Karen' Goes Off On Black Officer In Viral Grocery Store Tirade: Video

A white woman was caught on video launching a racist tirade against a Black officer in a Georgia grocery store.
Video went viral on TikTok this week of the women’s dramatic encounter with officers and store employees at a Kroger in Georgia in 2022.
An employee said the woman began to harass customers and Kroger staff because of their choice to wear face coverings in the store. The white woman went full “Karen” when she was asked to leave the store over the disturbance.
“I’m being kicked out of the store because I’m white!” The woman yelled. “It’s a Black person’s word over a white person’s word!
During her rant, the woman threatened to contact a lawyer and accused employees and officers of violating her rights.
“You are a racist,” she told a Black security guard. “You are discriminating against a white person, how dare you!”
At another point, the woman said she would like to speak to a white officer because she “relate(s) better to people of my own race.”
A white officer appeared to warn the woman that she was now trespassing after she had been asked to leave the store several times.
“You can’t go believing a Black person over a white person!” The woman told the officer.
The confrontation ended with the woman being taken out of the store in handcuffs.
