Executive Chef Miguel Quintero had his humble beginnings in the culinary industry at the age of 15 when he left his native country Mexico in search of his American Dream. While he previously had not yet discovered his interest in the culinary field, Chef Quintero worked his way up quickly from a dishwasher to a cook working in several restaurants that included the well-known Dar Maghreb in Hollywood, CA. In 1996, Habana welcomed him as their newest Sous Chef to join their culinary team shortly after its opening in Costa Mesa, CA. Six months later, after endless dedication, perseverance, and the love for his new passion, he paved the way to becoming Habana's Executive Chef. For over 28 years, Chef Quintero has delicately crafted and executed numerous successful recipes for Habana that have earned the culinary team an amazing reputation.
