Carrie Underwood dressed in stunning, beach-worthy looks during this week’s American Idol episodes at a resort and spa on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Underwood posted photos on Instagram of her glamorous Idol wardrobe pieces ahead of the shows that aired on Sunday evening (April 13) and Monday evening (April 14). One set of photos shows the eight-time Grammy Award winner in “paradise.” She posed with palm trees and the shimmering ocean in the background, soaking up the rays of sunshine in a vibrantly-colored, flowing outfit. Underwood paired the look with flowers in her hair and a lei around her neck.

During the American Idol show on Sunday, Underwood, keeping the flowers in her hair, wore an off-the-shoulders, pink and white dress with pleated ruffles — reminiscent of seashells during the country star’s Hawaii visit — cascading to the floor. The Denim & Rhinestones hitmaker embraced “that golden hour glow” ahead of the performances.

On Monday, the first-time Idol judge donned a shimmering gold top and brown, floor-length skirt as she posed in the setting sun before contestants took the stage. Underwood wrote in one caption that “ocean air and [American Idol] is the best combination!” In another, she wrote “blessed, not stressed.”

Underwood is making her highly-anticipated return to American Idol as a judge 20 years after she won the show’s fourth season in 2005. the powerhouse country star joins fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, and reunites with longtime host Ryan Seacrest, who crowned Underwood the Idol winner two decades ago. This season of American Idol offers a boost of star power with Jelly Roll, serving as the first-ever artist in residence to offer guidance to the contestants.
